Quiet and comfortable workspaces for guests and employees

LCL Antwerp redesigned its office space in order to serve clients and employees better. Our datacenter in Antwerp now offers a quiet and comfortable environment for guests and employees to perform check-ups and programming outside of the server rooms. The office is renovated according to the highest standards of sustainability. It even features a natural moss wall to cultivate the relaxed atmosphere of nature.

The renovation resulted in a newly designed office space, a modern meeting room and a big welcoming area, branded as the ‘cosy area’. The new office space allows LCL to offer our guests and employees a place to work comfortably and ergonomically. Have a meeting, relax during an upgrade or wait for a customer in an area that stimulates wellness and productivity. Fast WiFi connection, charging stations and beverages are available and free to use. More than sufficient connectivity is ensured and continuously expanding. We offer easy to find parking space on the backside of the building, so you won’t have to worry about finding a parking spot.

The office spaces are designed with high focus on sustainability. The ‘cosy area’ has a natural moss wall, which brings nature and a green touch to LCL’s office area. Besides providing air pollutant reduction, it offers noise reduction, calm and a sense of well-being. All furniture is made of certified wood to further promote a sustainable office space. To ensure energy efficiency, all lights are power saving LED lighting that work with sensors so that the lights are not constantly on.

Another part of the renovation is the creation of a staging area for unpacking or uncrating activities. It is meant for further contamination control and protection of server room equipment. After previously installing staging areas in LCL’s data centers in Aalst and Diegem, Antwerp now follows.
