The new coronavirus measures are aimed at limiting our physical contacts as far as possible. Security and well-being are two concepts to which we attach high importance at LCL. So this is an ideal time to explain to you what is included in our ‘hands & eyes’ service.

The well-being and security of our colleagues, clients and partners are our main priority. This obviously applied well before the coronavirus crisis. However the Belgian government’s recent measures oblige us once again to reduce our physical contacts to the minimum.

In order to maximise the protection against coronavirus for everyone, we have set up a range of practical prevention measures in addition to our ‘hands & eyes’ service.

Hands & eyes

At LCL, we have set up a ‘hands & eyes’ service.

This means that our colleagues – after a remote briefing from you – will become your hands and eyes in our data centers. So you no longer have to do any travelling, which helps to reduce the risk of infection. We can do the adaptations for you, according to your specific instructions.

Our ‘hands & eyes’ service is one part of this. In addition, we have taken several other prevention measures in our buildings and data centers, such as:

Contact tracing

Hygiene

  • Disinfectant gel is available in various places in the buildings, so you can regularly disinfect your hands.

Social distancing

  • The number of people authorised to be present at the same time is posted for each space.
  • Keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m when you pass by a colleague or if you are several people gathered in one space.
  • You must wear a mask in all the data centers.
